The 57th IAFF Convention kicks off Monday with the theme “Wherever the Fight Is,” highlighting the union’s spirit and commitment to confronting challenges head-on.

From Aug. 26-30, the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center will host this important event, bringing together fire fighters, rescue workers, and emergency medical personnel from across the U.S. and Canada.

The biennial convention, which starts at 9 a.m. on Aug. 26, serves as a forum for members to vote on resolutions and amendments that will shape the future of the firefighting profession and the IAFF. You can watch the Opening Ceremony on the IAFF’s YouTube page.

“Our theme, Wherever the Fight Is, embodies the mission of our great union,” General President Edward Kelly said. “The IAFF fights for what’s right and what’s fair, and I look forward to us coming together in Boston to renew that commitment as we discuss the business of our union.”
