A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support Coats for Kids yesterday❤️🧥
This event wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible teamwork from both the Marysville Fire District and Tulalip Bay Fire Department.
A special shoutout to the crew of M61:
Alex Leonard, Ian Barret, and Reece Williams,
as well as Kate Shephard, Jen Haan, and Erik Dvorak for showing up with heart and service.
And a big thank you to Erik Skoor at Quil Ceda Elementary for coordinating the event and creating such a smooth, streamlined process for families.
Because of all of you, more kids in our community will stay warm this winter — and that means everything. ❤️🔥🧥 ... See MoreSee Less

💙 LIFT UP DJ 💙
Saturday, 11/29 at Remedy Athletics
In the fire service, we talk a lot about strength — strength of body, strength of mind, and strength of heart. Few people embody all three the way our brother DJ does.
DJ has been a constant source of positivity in both the firefighting and fitness communities. He’s the kind of man who leads quietly but powerfully, lifting others up with encouragement, faith, and a steady example of what it means to live a life of purpose. A devoted husband, father, friend, and believer, DJ has inspired more people than he’ll ever know.
Now, as he faces his toughest battle yet — multiple myeloma — it’s our turn to show him what community truly looks like.
On Saturday, November 29th, Remedy Athletics will be hosting “Lift Up DJ,” a fundraising evening dedicated to supporting him and his family. Whether you join to lift, cheer, donate, or simply stand shoulder-to-shoulder in solidarity, your presence matters.
Firefighters don’t fight alone. Families don’t stand alone. And DJ will not walk this road alone.
Let’s lift him up the way he has lifted so many of us.
